Soccer is arguably one of the most popular boys’ activities offered at Vhalliespark Primary School.
This popularity, coupled with a team of highly motivated and skilled coaches, has secured
Vhalliespark Primary School’s reputation as a formidable force at the league level.
Age Groups
Soccer is offered to four age groups of players: Mini soccer, U10, U11, and U13.
Only one team, per age group, is entered into the league except for mini soccer.
Soccer practices are held on school grounds. Days and times of these practices
vary according to age groups – please consult the Term program for details
MINI SOCCER
Played: 2nd Term
Grades: Mini Soccer (Grade 1 – 3)
Uniform Required:
Soccer practice requires players to wear a suitable practice kit. Vhalliespark Primary School
provides a match kit for the players at official tournaments and league matches. Players are required
to provide the following: soccer boots, and shin pads.
Equipment needed: Shin guards, soccer boots
Practice times: As indicated on the extra-mural timetable every term
Practice starting dates: Will be determined from term to term
Communication method to parents: Coaches hand out correspondence at training sessions.
When necessary, learners hand in replay slips.

SENIOR BOYS SOCCER
Played: 2nd term
Grade: Senior soccer (U10, U11 and U13)
Uniform Required:
Equipment needed: Shin guards, soccer boots
Practice times: As indicated on the extra-mural timetable
Practice starting date: Will be determined from term to term
Communication method to parents: Coaches hand out correspondence at training sessions. When
necessary, learners hand in reply slips
